Wild Life at Bass Lake

It always feels like a very special day whenever I have a chance encounter with wild life.  Growing up in Central NJ, the only wild life I saw was when I took an occasional trip to NYC or took a drive on the turnpike!  However, that's not the wild life I'm talking about.

That is why when I saw a blue heron walk right onto the scene I was painting, I was giddy!

I  also had a visit by a friendly retriever that I also added into the painting.
